The game officially arrived in the United Kingdom today (Thursday) and can be downloaded from the iOS App Store and Google Play for Android.

While puzzle phenomenon Candy Crush Saga has around 20 million daily active users, they claim Pokemon Go has already reached 21 million. Pokemon Go is setting a precedent as the most successful reality game app on the market.

But how much will “Pokemon Go” really contribute to Nintendo’s earnings?
“We want to reach out and connect with people in the neighborhood and show them the kindness of Jesus through a game we all have fun playing”, Donnie Clinton, a Rooftop intern and high school ministry leader, said in a church statement.
Pokemon Go has proved phenomenally popular and the launch has been staggered to help developer Niantic cope with demand.
“Pokemon GO” has successfully merged real-life and virtual Pokemon experience. Companies and retailers would be given opportunity to be featured on the game’s map as a local landmark.
The game uses AR, or “augmented reality”, where you switch on your phone’s camera, look at your screen and see virtual creatures which you’re trying to “catch” superimposed over the real world view.
Obviously an agreement would need to be reached with the rights holders of the HBO series in order to create a GoT spin-off, but fans are now dreaming of Pokemon Go style of game based on the world created by George R.R. Martin.
App users, or trainers, search for Pokemon and try to build up an army of Pokemon by collecting as many characters as possible. If a Pokemon has foot marks below it, this means they are close by. Why shouldn’t the game maker also reap the benefits?
To be clear, “Pokemon Go” players only comprised about 1 percent of Facebook’s reported 1.5 billion users.
