The Foxes completed the £18million signing of Musa from Russian club CSKA Moscow last week and Ranieri has already dubbed his team the “RAF” (Royal Air Force) due to their rapid style of play and abundance of speedy players.

Danny Drinkwater admits he must work hard on his fitness during pre-season after enjoying his summer break from football.

The former Foxes goalkeeper says Leicester are close to forming a squad capable of retaining their Premier League title.

Alongside Danny Drinkwater, Jammie Vardie, Ron-Robert Zieler, Luis Hernandez and Nampalys Mendy, Musa Musa was among the group for the first day of training in Austria.

‘They’re looking good; nice and sharp, ‘ the 26-year-old, who missed out on the fiasco of England’s Euro 2016 campaign, told Foxes Player HD.

Ghanaian duo Jeff Schlupp and Daniel Amartey have intensified their pre-season training with Leicester City in Austria. “So hopefully they all fit together and start to impress”.

“It’s tough”, added Drinkwater. It was good to get among the lads again and start working. “Remember, we are the RAF and we’ve signed one of them!”, Ranieri was quoted as saying. Obviously the boys went off to celebrate at the end of the season – I think everyone did.
