Victim speaks out after video shows man pointing a
The man with the gun shouted insults and homophobic slurs. A man posted video footage on Twitter featuring him wagging a gun at a man he believes to be gay.

In the smartphone footage, you see a man point a gun at another man as he exits the store, erupting into a series of gay and racial slurs. “That gun was fake”, the man says to the camera in the Periscope video.
Thousands of people have viewed the video since it was posted on Twitter Tuesday evening by a man who goes by the handle @binswanson.
Local news station Fox 2 Detroit reports that police are investigating the incident as a potential hate crime, although they have yet to locate either the man who posted the video or the man being threatened in the video.
The 32 second clip-which he recorded himself and titled “I hate gay [expletive]”-depicts him sitting in a auto outside a Detroit food and liquor mart listening to music”.
“Hey take your (expletive) trousers off, man get the (expletive) on before I bust your (expletive)”, the man says in the video. “I don’t like looking at that (expletive) I don’t like gay ass (n-words) or none of that”.
In a statement Fair President Dana Nessel said: “This video is a tragic reminder of the fear and intimidation LGBT people in our community live with, on a daily basis”.
In another Periscope video the man shows his guns and challenges police to arrest him. Sgt. Michael Woody told CBS police have seen the video.

“We can’t have people committing those types of crimes; and then, on top of which, targeting persons of any class, regardless of how they identify”.
