Colin Farrell cast in Harry Potter spinoff, ‘Fantastic Beasts and Where to
Farrell will play a wizard called Graves who meets Newt in New York while he’s on a fact-finding mission, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Colin Farrell has been cast in the highly anticipated Harry Potter spinoff titled Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them.
Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them is one of the fictional books assigned to Harry and his friends while at school in Hogwarts Witchcraft and Wizardry.
Ezra Miller, Katherine Waterston, Dan Fogler and Alison Sudol also have roles in Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them, which is set 70 years before Harry Potter – previously played by Daniel Radcliffe – is introduced to the book. Colin Farrell is ready to cast a spell.
Directing the highly-anticipated film will be David Yates, the same man that directed the final four Potter films. Potter series producer David Heyman will produce along with Steve Kloves, writer of seven of the Potter films, and Lionel Wigram.
Rowling will write the screenplay of the film which is due for release next year.
Meanwhile, fans should watch out for the finale of Colin Farrell’s police procedural, “True Detective” Season 2, as it is set to end on Sunday.

Rowling is writing her debut screenplay for Fantastic Beasts, which is due to hit cinemas in 2016. He’s repped by CAA, LBI Entertainment and attorney Steve Warren.
