Alleged iPhone 7 leak caught on video

No, there won’t be any black or dark gray, or deep blue, or anything-like-that version of the iPhone 7, as Apple is apparently planning to keep the same four options now available on the 6s lineup for the upcoming generation as well. There’s a possibility that Apple could increase the battery size due to the rumored removal of the headphone jack.

The grays you’ll see above are Silver and Space Gray, which are already available for the iPhone 6S. However, the users spoke out against it in the hopes of Apple changing its decision. However, given everything we have heard about the iPhone 7 so far, it wouldn’t surprise me if these EarPods turned out to be real.

The images were found on Weibo. In January reports from China backed up the rumors, claiming Apple expected people to primarily rely on wireless headphones going forward. If this is the case, iPhone 7 owners will be forced to either use headphones that connect over Lightning, Bluetooth headphones, or a Lightning-to-3.5mm adapter. Still, it doesn’t bode well for the port’s future.

Of course, we have no way of knowing if the devices seen in the video are legit, but they line up nicely with the pictures that have leaked over the past few weeks. Most of these didn’t give us a good look at the ports, but one leaked by Nowhereelse.fr in late June did and unsurprisingly there was no 3.5mm headphone port.

Colors: A newly-leaked image may show the colors for Apple’s (AAPL) upcoming iPhone 7, reports MacRumors.

Corroborating other leaks, the camera hole itself will also get significantly larger (around 25% bigger in diameter) which indicates significant upgrades in image quality as the sensor will be able to take in more light, even if the megapixel count remains constant. The regular variant of the iPhone 7 would just be coming out with a better processor and improved RAM and camera.
