Star Alliance, the way the Earth connects, has claimed the Best Airline Alliance title at the Skytrax World Airline Awards.
SkyTrax awards are exclusively based on customer survey and customer satisfaction measurement for their experience; from check-in to boarding, onboard comfort, cabin cleanness, food, beverages, inflight entertainment, staff service and associated travel items.
This year’s winners of the World Airline Awards, the global benchmark of airline excellence, were announced recently at the Farnborough Airshow in England. “We constantly invest in our product and services, both on the ground and in the air”, said Tim Clark, president of Emirates. “Our passengers give us positive feedback and we will keep improving our offerings to fit passengers’ needs”, said Steve Lin, EVA Air Chairman.
The independent survey evaluates traveller experiences across a wide range of airport services and then evaluates key performance indicators – from check-in, arrivals, transfers, shopping, security and immigration right through to departure at the gate.
