Huawei’s sales are right on track, and if they keep this up, 2016 might be yet another record year for the company which managed to become the world’s third-largest smartphone manufacturer last year.

In terms of specifications, the device features a 5.5-inch full-HD IPS display with a 1920×1080 pixels resolution and a pixel density of 401ppi.
The Huawei Maimang 5 is powered by 2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor and it comes with 3GB of RAM. The unit with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory will cost you the equivalent of $343 United States dollars, and the configuration of 4GB of RAM and 64GB of native storage is tagged at the equivalent of $374 USD.
At the back, the smartphone includes a 16MP snapper with optical image stabilization, phase detection autofocus and 4K video capture support at 30 frames per second. It comes in two variants with 3GB RAM + 32GB Storage and 4GB RAM + 64GB Storage.
The Huawei Maimang 5 runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow with the company’s EMUI 4.1 custom UI on top. On the front it has 8MP camera wide-angle lens. Both the storage versions can be expandable storage via microSD slot. Coming to the Connectivity options, the Handset offers 4G LTE (with VoLTE for China Mobile), 2G/3G, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, WiFi Calling, WiFi (802.11 b/g/n), USB OTG, and USB 2.0 Type-C port. While no worldwide release for the device has been announced so far, the device is highly expected to go on sale via Huawei’s official online store in the European region sometime soon, with major Asian territories following afterwards.

The device will cost 2599 Yuan, equivalent to $389. The 4GB variant on the other hand will be available in Champagne Gold and Rose Gold colors.
