Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont will join Hillary Clinton at a campaign rally in New Hampshire on Tuesday, where he is expected to endorse his former rival.

Bernie Sanders announced his official endorsement of Hillary Clinton at a rally in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, today.

“Together, we will continue to fight for a government which represents all of us and not just the one percent”, Sanders said. But Lynch says Sanders is simply holding Clinton accountable. Putting aside the acrimony, Ms Clinton thanked Mr Sanders for his endorsement – even if their body language did not exude warmth and was downright awkward at times.

The holdout was seen as part of an effort by Sanders to secure changes to the Democratic Party platform that were more in line with his progressive ideology.

“You were great, so great”, Clinton said.

But he added, “This campaign is not really about Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump or Bernie Sanders, or any other candidate who sought the presidency”.

With a huge smile, Clinton embraced Sanders and they raised their arms in a traditional unity pose.

FOX31 Denver political reporter Joe St. George caught up with Sandoval Tuesday.

His endorsement, coming five weeks after Clinton became the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee, brought the most prominent holdout in the party’s liberal wing into Clinton’s camp.

Sanders, in his remarks, outlined the implications of November’s election.
