Are Arsenal looking to hijack West Ham’s negotiations with Milan for Bacca?
West Ham were favourites to sign the Colombian worldwide until recently but the latest speculation in Italy suggests the Gunners are set to usurp their London rivals and make the AC Milan prospect one of their own, as reported by the Italian publication Gazetta.

West Ham’s hopes of landing Bacca in tatters Having played for Sevilla in the Europa League, Carlos Bacca made it clear of his desire to play Champions League football.
The Hammers have been in talks to sign the Colombia star for several weeks, with Gianluca Di Marzio reporting earlier this week they were close to agreeing personal terms with him.
“[On Atleti], my dream is to play in the Champions League and I’m working every day to make it happen”.
To this point West Ham have led the race for the Colombia global, but the Gunners are said to have turned to Bacca in a late bid to hijack the deal.
“My future’s in God’s hands”. However, the man himself says he wants to play in the Champions League. “We all know that I have a contract with Milan for four years”, he told AS.
“Depending on the project with Milan this year, new investors, the players who will arrive and the team we have, they’re going to make decisions”.
“There are offers and there is interest from clubs from England, Spain, Italy, France and Germany”.
“Unfortunately, the failure for Milan to reach the tournament is one of the themes of our discussions with the club”.
