Fresno, California’s police chief says he hopes that the release of body-camera video of the fatal shooting of a 19-year-old man doesn’t increase tensions.

Police body cam video is now public, released by Fresno’s police chief Wednesday afternoon.

Officers at the scene had warned Noble not to reach into his waistband, believing he may have a gun, but Noble twice reached under his shirt for his waistband, Fresno Police Chief Jerry Dyer said.

He didn’t comply with commands and then is heard saying he hates his life. “This is not a time to become violent”.

Image from officer’s body camera shows Dylan Noble, 19, on the ground after he is shot by Fresno, California police officers.

Then, after 15 seconds, another officer walked up to Noble with a shotgun and finished him off, according to the claim,

Policemen in a squad vehicle in the area witnessed a pickup truck turn in front of them at an intersection with tires screeching and head away at a high rate of speed.

Investigators determined the object in Noble’s hand was a 4-inch plastic container with malleable clay. The disturbing footage shows officers shooting Noble twice.

The case echoes ongoing nationwide doubts about police officers’ use of lethal force in general, but runs counter to the prevailing narrative that such force is motivated by racism.

Dyer said he meant to make the video public last Friday, but he held off because of the shooting deaths of police in Dallas the night before.

“You’re going to get shot, man”, one officer says. Officers tell him to put both of his hands up, but Noble only puts one hand through the driver’s side window.

After that, an officer fired two shots, and Noble was seen falling to the ground, and then rolled over.

“Show me your hands!” the officers said to Noble.

In the video, officers can be seen pointing guns at Noble, who has pulled his truck over at a gas station.

When Noble stopped his truck, the teen disobeyed orders that officers were shouting.

The video shows Dylan Noble repeatedly ignoring commands to stand still and show his hands before officers discharge their weapons.

The father is “extremely disappointed at the way the police handled this shooting and he’s relying on outside agencies for providing him with answers and justice”, said Warren Paboojian, the lawyer for Darren Noble.

Nelson has filed a lawsuit against the city for the officers’ use of excessive force.

The prosecutor’s office is investigating the shooting and their probe is expected to conclude next month.

Chief Dyer told The Fresno Bee in a June 27 report that body-cam footage showed that the officers “felt, at least in their minds” that firearms were necessary.

Dylan Noble died in June after police shot him four times twice as he approached officers twice while he was on the ground still moving. Police Chief Jerry Dyer said there are questions that body camera recordings released answer and some they don't
