Incidentally, Green had played for MI and participated in college basketball for four years from 2008 till 2012. Green’s arraignment is scheduled for 20 July, and if convicted, the Warriors player could face up to 93 days in jail and a $500 fine.

The incident report, which was released on Wednesday, confirms that in fact, there was a scuffle between Green and Edmondson. The GSW forward bumped into Edmondson and when the MSU player called him out, he and his girlfriend were choked by Green’s companions. Green then turned around and asked Edmondson, “Do you know who I am?”
Edmondson ran into Green in East Lansing the very next night outside of a restaurant.
After the arrest, Green told police he was sorry and that he wanted to speak with Edmondson to apologize. He indicated that Draymond put his hand on him and started to talk to him.
“I was standing on the west side of Abbot next to the old MSUFCU watching Conrad’s as the bars were closing for the night”, officer Shelby Humphries wrote in the report. At the time, Edmondson did not want to seek medical attention and refused to press charges against Green.
Things changed when the Lansing State Journal reported that Edmondson sent a statement to police saying he “would like to take further action” and was “willing to cooperate”. “I pay for n*ggas like you scholarships”, which was followed by an altercation involving Edmunson, his girlfriend, and members of Green’s crew. He was taken to the East Lansing jail where it was determined he had a.10 blood-alcohol level. He went on to say that his attorneys will handle the legal side of the situation and that he will learn from the incident and move on.
Then the next night, Edmondson saw Green again at a nearby bar and told Green to his face that “last night wasn’t cool”. “It will be resolved really quickly”, Green said Tuesday in Aspen, Colorado. As a public figure, I can’t put myself in certain situations.

Green is still expected to be able to participate in the upcoming Rio Olympics as part of Team USA.
