Tour de France continues in wake of Nice atrocity
Congress president Sonia Gandhi said that the terrorist attack on a crowd celebrating Bastille Day in Nice “reflects deep resentment to peace and democratic values”.

The attack has not been claimed by any group, but Hollande said in an address to the nation early Friday that the attack was of an “undeniable terrorist nature”.
After the vicious terrorist attack during the celebration for France’s Independence Day, the bodies of young girls and boys were left covered in blankets with their dolls and strollers still next to them, according to Daily Mail.
“We are facing a war that terrorism has brought to us”, said Prime Minister Manuel Valls on Friday after an emergency meeting.
“It was terrifying, especially because we didn’t know what was going on”.

Both presidential candidates also condemned the attacks, with Republican Donald Trump declaring “this is war” and Democrat Hillary Clinton vowing “we will not be intimidated”.
“Let us weep with them, let us stand with them”.
“This disgusting attack in Nice confirms the urgency of our work to fight terrorism”, Lavrov said.

Meanwhile, the opposition leader of the Democratic Republic of Congo, Moise Katumbi, linked the veracity of the attack to those of the United States and his country the DRC.
