What’s interesting about the company’s transition to movies is their slow integration of original “Star Wars” characters to their animated series such as “Clone Wars” and “Star Wars Rebels”. To see more details about the Star Wars celebration, Entertainment Weekly has the scoop.

We’re well into the Rogue One: A Star Wars Story portion of this weekend’s Star Wars Celebration, and while footage of the film is now premiering, along with all manner of concept art and posters and such, our very own Perri Nemiroff was able to grab over 40 shots from the Rogue One exhibit.

Rogue One will tell the story of Rebel fighters who go on a mission to steal the plans for the Death Star.

In addition to this new behind-the-scenes reel, Disney also debuted a new poster for Rogue One, although a second trailer was not shown as many fans were hoping for. Well, I say films, I mean Rogue One.

Meanwhile, the latest on the “Star Wars Rebels” Season 3 shows Darth Maul’s return.

There’s a grand history of villains getting their own cool ships in Star Wars, and Ben Mendehlson’s mysterious Director Krennic is joining the crew with his own awesome geometric shuttle. Jyn Erso, Felicity Jones’ upstart Rebel leader, tells the band of heroes that she has assembled that “This is our chance to make a real difference”.
