IKEA recalls 80000 baby gates
IKEA is recalling 80,000 baby gates because they can come unintentionally unlocked, posing a risk of falls and related injuries, the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced Thursday. Three separate gates and an extender gate mechanism are affected by the recall.

The CPSC said consumers should stop using the gates and extensions immediately and return them to Ikea for a refund.
The recall includes the IKEA’s Patrull, Patrull Fast, and Patrull Klamma, which was previously recalled in May 2015.
The recall is for the Patrull, Patrull Klamma and Patrull Fast safety gates and extenions. The products are white and made of beech wood or steel and plastic. In 10 of those incidents, children suffered cuts and bruising, while two incidents resulted in concussions. The pressure-mounted gates open both inward and outward.
