Texas A&M Unveils Black ‘Aggie Nights’ Uniforms For Halloween

The Texas A&M Aggies will be going into total darkness when it takes the field against South Carolina in an SEC crossover match-up this Halloween.

It would have been cool to see Texas A&M pair their black uniforms with an orange helmet and black logo, but I suppose that is why I am here behind the keyboard and not in the design studio mocking up alternate uniforms. Laid subtly into the helmet, and offset by a black gloss finish, is the Texas A&M “Lone Star Logo”.

We’re guessing South Carolina coach Steve Spurrier will have some kind of quip during game week about these uniforms.

Texas A&M is no stranger to trying out different alternate uniforms, but the all-black look will be a new one for them.

The Aggies’ black jerseys and trousers have silver numbers and stripes and “Texas A&M” is written in maroon. Additionally, the Lone Star Logo is also incorporated into the pant stripes, creating a cohesive signature look. The jersey’s padlock system secures tension over the shoulder pads, while the bodymap fit adheres to the player, making it hard for opponents to grab, hold or tackle.

Players will wear Adizero 5-Star 4.0 cleats, which Adidas describes as the lightest on the market.
