Apple Watch users have been able to take advantage of Outlook features prior to this update, which bumps up the app’s version number to 1.3.5, but in a more restrictive manner.
The business side of Outlook is also getting a major update in the form of Outlook on the Web, or the Outlook Web App, which is the business-side web-based interface of Outlook in Office 365 for email, calendar, contacts, and tasks. All that you can do in this context is use the quick reply feature or dictation.
With the Apple Watch release, the app is more than competitive with the Apple’s default mail client, which also offers you the ability to receive only important email notifications (“VIP” messages), and the ability to view your inbox, flag and delete messages. Likewise, there are some custom notifications to give a customise email experience on Apple Watch. The company, which once was known to exclusively focus on Windows, has been aggressively releasing apps for Google’s and Apple’s mobile and smartwatch platforms.
Currently, other than Apple Music, there is no clarity on what additional products the company plans to bring to Android.
Yammer for Apple Watch – listed as coming soon, this new Apple Watch app will allow you to quickly view all of your Yammer updates and announcements to manage conversations and activities at a glance. Microsoft’s latest Outlook for Apple Watch app joins a host of similar apps including OneDrive, PowerPoint, Skype, and OneNote.
Users can pin commonly used translations and settings and even browse the history of recent translations for quick, one tap access.
OneNote also uses voice recognition to make it easier to create or access notes.
Microsoft’s creative storytelling visual aid is out of preview and now available to the general public.

OneDrive now has a watch face that lets you see a photo from the last 30 days. With Wearables emerging as the new “it” device, it was only a matter of time before Microsoft went and increased its presence on them as well.
