Twitter unveils emojis for EPL clubs ahead of 2015/16 campaign
Twitter has launched a host of emojis each representing an English Premier League team to give fans new ways to show their support online.

The league itself even has an emoji – type in #BPLkickoff and you’ll see a tiny version of the Premier League trophy that John Terry will inevitably be lifting at the end of the season.
Each club will have their emoji triggered by a specific hashtag-Chelsea’s is #CFC, for example-and there will also be relevant match hashtags and general Premier League emojis.
Matchday hashtags like #BOUAVL (Bolton vs Aston Villa) display two miniature emjois of the club’s badges alongside each other.
The individual club hashtag emojis will be available throughout the season, while the match hashtag emojis will expire following this weekend’s fixtures.

Twitter had earlier unveiled an interactive Premier League follower map to show which teams were popular across the world as a means of engaging football fans across the platform.
