After weeks of name-dropping his National Football League quarterback brother, Jordan finally opened up to JoJo on Monday night’s episode of The Bachelorette about the dark cloud that hovers over the Rodgers family: “Me and Aaron don’t really have that much of a relationship”, the frontrunner admitted. Aaron’s girlfriend, Olivia Munn, even shared a little bit a while back when she was asked about Jordan on the show.

JoJo says she sees a future with Luke, but he strikes me more as the mysterious “special friend” you have sex with during a semester overseas but you actually never add each other on Facebook. Concerned JoJo reveals in the preview that she is nervous and concerned about the “not much of a relationship” between Jordan and his brother Aaron.
There was some vague talk about Jordan disapproving of his brother’s lack of closeness to the family, including oldest brother Luke, and some backtracking of the criticism, but it’s clear that there’s a rift of some sort.
“I wanted to be able to say so badly that I was falling in love with you too, and I just couldn’t say that”, she told him. “I don’t have hard feelings against him, it’s just how things go right now”.
Later, JoJo and Robby have a private talk outside, where he tells her about his very, very recent break-up with an ex of four years. Jordan spilled – and we mean, really spilled – on his non-relationship with Aaron, wiping out any hopes for Packers fans of seeing No. 12 around the family dinner table on next week’s hometown dates. “We just all kind of have this competitive streak”. For the less cynical, or those among us more willing to suspend disbelief, watching contestants choose when, where, or whether or not to tell JoJo they love her is like watching an Olympic gymnast on the balance beam.
Will Robby Hayes and Jordan Rodgers be JoJo Fletcher’s final two? It’s unfortunate that he doesn’t have the same relationship with Aaron, but as we all know, family dynamics can be complicated.
“My middle brother won’t be there”, he said.
Bet airing your differences on national TV will really help that relationship. We saw an inkling of this in the last episode, where he called Jordan “entitled” for telling him how to play poker (Jordan is entitled for a lot of reasons, but that’s probably the least of them). For their date, Alex and JoJo drive around the Argentinian countryside and eat Pringles while JoJo scoots further and further away from him in the back seat of the vehicle.
He’s admitted that growing up in Aaron’s shadow hasn’t been easy, but there’s also going on there than a generic case of sibling rivalry.
“When I walked away from playing …” Sources say she and Robby were really serious until he dumped her before filming The Bachelorette. I think she and I need someone more playful.

“Me and Aaron don’t have that much of a relationship”. It’s awesomely low budget and clearly a last-minute fix for some bad weather, but actually it’s a great way for JoJo to see what it’s like to hang with Robby, Chase, and James T.in a more relaxed, tipsy environment.
