Satellite imagery suggests Iran trying to clean up Parchin suspected nuclear

The president of the Institute for Science and worldwide Security, David Albright, obtained and examined a commercially available satellite image of the Parchin site, reporting that hew saw two new large vehicles and ongoing alterations.

“This renewed activity…raises obvious concerns that Iran is conducting further sanitization efforts to defeat…verification” of the deal, the nonpartisan think-tank said.

“This renewed activity may be a last ditch effort to try to ensure that no incriminating evidence will be found”, said ISIS, which was founded by a former IAEA nuclear inspector to bring scientific expertise to debates about nuclear weapons.

Kelleher-Vergantini says that these side-deals are a key dimension of the Iran nuclear deal, even though they do not explicitly relate to future nuclear activity.

“I saw the provisional documents, as did my experts”, Sherman said, adding that her team and she were permitted access only to the side deals and that those deals were “to remain confidential and can’t be submitted to Congress”.

White House spokesman Josh Earnest separately played down any such Iranian efforts, although he said at a daily briefing he could not discuss any specific intelligence matters.

“For more than a decade, the Iranians had gone to great lengths to try to cover it up”, he said.

“The reality is, we know that Iran had a nuclear weapons program”.

Also on Wednesday, Secretary of State John Kerry cast doubt on whether Iran truly wants to destroy Israel.

“The Parchin military complex covers a very vast area, which includes different military, industrial, administrative and residential sections”.

In the past IAEA has been denied a return visit to the Parchin complex, where investigators claim to have credible evidence that nuclear-related experiments took place.

The outlet said intelligence had satellite images that showed heavy machinery working at the site in broad daylight. “Old habits die hard”, he said, referring to Iran, which in the past had failed to declare some of its nuclear activities to the IAEA.
