Dee Milliner: (Wrist) Headed For Surgery
He is scheduled to have surgery Friday. Milliner’s absence, while not a crippling blow, is the latest obstacle in his quest to earn a prominent role on the team after being such a high draft pick. However, he left a Week Six match-up with the Denver Broncos an Achilles injury that was later revealed to be a tear and missed the rest of 2014.

Milliner, drafted No. 9 overall two years ago, had five surgeries during his playing days at Alabama. He missed time at OTAs because of a hamstring issue, sprained his ankle in training camp and had problems with his quadriceps.
The 23-year-old Milliner was limited to three games last season due to injury. He had five surgeries in college, but the Jets said they were not anxious because he had not missed a game at Alabama.
As a rookie in 2013, Milliner recorded 56 tackles and three interceptions in 13 games.

The New York Jets made a big push this past offseason to strengthen the team’s secondary, spending some big bucks to bring back cornerbacks Darrelle Revis and Antonio Cromartie.
