Alice Cooper has revealed that Hollywood Vampires band mate Joe Perry was not feeling well before collapsing on stage. The Hollywood Vampires continued with their tour as scheduled, and Alice Cooper had the Coney Island crowd chant “Get well, Joe!”

Earlier today we reported that Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry was in a “stable” condition having suffered a heart attack while performing live in Coney Island.

Joe Perry is on the mend.

He was subsequently admitted to Coney Island Hospital, where he was listed as being in a stable condition, before he was transferred to Columbia Presbyterian Hospital in Manhattan.

Cooper later tweeted Perry was stable and with his family and “under the best care”. “FDNY and NYPD carried him off quickly”, the fan said via Instagram.

The Hollywood Vampires cancelled last night’s planned appearance on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert.

Sujata Murthy, a spokeswoman at the band’s label, said that Perry “will rejoin his fellow Vampires on stage again soon” without giving a date. “His brother Vampires and fans wish him a speedy recovery”, they tweeted.

“Thanks to all the fans reaching out and asking about Joe”, the 65-year-old’s official Twitter page read after the incident. In the video, he can be seen collapsing on the stage, as the band continues to play.
