Prominent Black Lives Matter activist to attend Obama meeting

Saying all lives matter does not mean that black lives do not matter or that white lives do not matter, but rather that each and every one of us are human beings deserved of equal protection under the law. “There is no divisiveness because all of us are doing valuable work”, she said. I think people think enough’s enough.

Along the way as we were allowing the media to bring us into focus, we joined with the black community to bring focus onto everyone that felt the police were mistreating us. As president, she said, she would “have national guidelines about the use of force by police, especially deadly force”. “There needs to be a change amongst all police departments – and it’s not just police departments it a system”.

Pastor Jomo Johnson is the new leader for the Savannah chapter of Black Lives Matter. “More importantly, we’re at war with the police so I kind of put this thing together to try to bring some unity”.

She said most of the homicide victims this year in Charlotte were black.

As President Barack Obama stated last week, “We can not let the actions of a few define us all”.

“Barack Obama has managed to divide the races more than anybody else in this country”, he charged. That is how we honor the lives of Alton Sterling and the police officers who lost their lives in Dallas.
