Bulgarian PM: Turkey Reopens Border With Bulgaria
“Prime Minister Boyko Borisov assured early on Saturday that Bulgarian authorities are closely monitoring the situation in neighbouring Turkey where a group within the military is reported as Military+Attempts+Coup” attempting a coup.

“The land crossings on the border with Turkey have been reopened after they were closed yesterday at night”, RIA Novosti quotes the source.
Bulgaria has built a fence at its border with Turkey as part of its attempts to limit illegal crossings of migrants from conflicts in Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan. Bulgarian nationals now in Turkey were advised to stay out of public places, indoors if possible and register with the ministry’s online service meant to make it easier to reach people in case of emergencies.
On Saturday morning, after a awful night in Ankara and Istanbul, Iran’s Foreign Ministry called on nationals in Turkey, including residents or tourists, not to leave their places until further notice, avoid any gathering and heed warnings by the Turkish security officials.

Flights from Sofia to the Turkish cities of Istanbul and Antalya were cancelled on Saturday, according to the departure schedule on Sofia Airport’s website.
