Pogba would herald new era at United – Rio

Pogba’s believed to be mulling over his future, but a new development concerning the pair of players has United fans jumping with excitement.

“I was so happy to go for him and obviously he’s happy to work with me”, he said.

According to Manchester Evening News, he described the club as his “first family” when presented with the shirt, and was soon pressed on a possible return to United – the club he left on a free transfer four years ago. “They are a great club”.

He said: “It’s my first family”. “We will see. For the moment, I am here [Juventus] and I am happy here”.

Pogba was also asked what he would do if Jose Mourinho called, and answered: “I don’t know”. I did not recognise Pogba initially as he was wearing his cap, but they were both very gracious, humble and accommodating.

If Pogba truly had no interest in leaving Juventus, he wouldn’t have played along with the reporter.

The 34-year-old broke power records during his medical for United and continues to make his mark at his new club with the official announcement of the one-year deal on Instagram.

“Minutes later Pogba, Ibrahimovic and their families all stood together and with Pogba’s wife out of the photo holding her phone looked at me and gave me her phone to take the family portrait”. You can’t look at a page without seeing something about Pogba as he is the premier player that’s potentially on the market.

Former Manchester United midfielder Nick Powell has joined Wigan on a three-year contract. It’s hard to put a valuation on any player, let alone a central midfielder whose contributions aren’t tied directly in goals as it is for strikers.

The transfer of the summer, if not the century, is edging ever-closer.
