“We’re exhausted of having politicians in both parties in Washington, D.C., telling us we’ll get to those problems tomorrow”.

Mike Pence “is sort of at the heart and soul of the Republican voters nationwide” and is a good man who could help Donald Trump achieve party unity, Sen.
“We’re different people, I understand that”, Trump said in a preview of a “60 Minutes” interview that the pair did together.
“This is the first year I’ve put a lot into the presidential campaign, because this one is important”, she said. And when they shook hands, with the political world watching, it was only for a few seconds before Trump left the podium.
The event – the culmination of a vice presidential rollout that featured mixed signals, second-guessing and a 24-hour delay – was meant to assert that Trump and Pence would stand up to America’s enemies while being “the law-and-order candidates” at home.
“I’m a Christian, a conservative and a Republican”. Mike Pence of IN made their public debut as running mates Saturday morning, hoping to inspire a wave of party unity heading into the Republican National Convention IN Cleveland. “Because I’m an outsider”, Trump said.
The last-minute effort to block Trump may have failed, but Republican analyst Carl Calabrese says it’d be foolish to expect the Never Trump group to simply fade away in Cleveland next week.
Trump was disappointed with the rollout of Pence, and the reaction to him, on several levels. “They didn’t win.” Appell said.
“People will make their own choice, ‘ said Sessions”. But his hardline ideology is also at odds with Trump, who has largely avoided wading into social issues.
Paul Manafort, Trump’s campaign chairman, strongly rejected suggestions that the candidate considered changing his mind about Pence. Pence delivered a statement at the time that praised both Trump and rival Ted Cruz, the USA senator from Texas.
Trump spoke first, while Pence stood off stage out of view.
Pence had been in a tight re-election bid for governor and faced a Friday deadline to withdraw from that race in order to run for vice president instead.
But in the Fox interview, Pence fully supported Trump.
The Indiana governor has been a longtime advocate of trade deals such as NAFTA and the Trans-Pacific Partnership, both aggressively opposed by Trump.
Pence, however, has disagreed prominently with Trump on a number of issues; he has spoken out against the Republican presidential candidate’s controversial call for a ban on Muslims entering the U.S. and on trade deals. He also endorsed Sen.

Meanwhile, Trump’s primary opponent, Senator Ted Cruz, has yet to officially endorse Trump.
