The global media was yesterday focused on David Cameron’s exit and Theresa May’s appointment as new UK Prime Minister.

“As do I”, Cameron said as lawmakers responded in unison: “Awwwww!”

Larry moved into 10 Downing in 2011 after being recruited from Battersea Dogs & Cats Home for his ability to catch rodents.

The PM appeared before the press outside his home on Monday afternoon, confirming that he will step down after his final Prime Minister’s Questions on Wednesday.

British Prime Minister David Cameron appeared to be humming a little tune to himself as he walked away from cameras after announcing he would hand over power to his successor Theresa May tomorrow.

Soon after, the palace confirmed that Cameron had “tendered his resignation as prime minister and First Lord of the Treasury, which her majesty was graciously pleased to accept”.

He said: “He came to Bolton before the election and was full of bluster about improving our train services we have certainly not got the service he was promising”.

“I will watch these exchanges from the back benches”, he said.

She will return to No 10 as the country’s second female prime minister, following in the footsteps of Margaret Thatcher.

According to a government spokesman, Larry belongs to a civil servant and not the Cameron family and will, therefore, be staying put.

During the last instance of the Cameron-led Prime Minister’s Questions earlier on Wednesday, Cameron addressed rumors that he didn’t like the cat.
