Tremors felt in Amritsar after quake at India-Pakistan border

No report of damage to life and property has come so far.

Quake tremors also jolted Lahore, Sheikhupura and some other areas of Pakistan, ANI reported.

The quake measured 4.4 on the Richter scale with a focal depth of 10 kilometres according to the MET Department, according to Express News.

He said, “I could hear horrific noises coming out of the ground like the earth was going to split in two parts. I hope everyone is safe”, he said.

Amritsar: Earthquake tremors were felt in Punjab’s Amritsar on Sunday.

Tremors were felt in parts of Surat district and in Bhavnagar, Amreli, Palitana, Savarkundla, Adajan, among other places, officials said. No casualties are reported yet.

Medium intensity earthquake strikes Manipur
