“George Clooney will be my first-ever #LSSC guest on September 8th!” Colbert certainly has some big shoes to fill and he will also be going up against popular late night shows “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon” and “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”

Colbert will take his seat on the stage of the Ed Sullivan Theater in nearly exactly one month, and his name will fly across the vintage Broadway marquee previously occupied by David Letterman.
