An Airbus A320 with 140 passengers on board landed safely in Philadelphia Friday evening, after an emergency was declared shortly after take-off, according to the Federal Aviation Administration.

A reporter with the Philadelphia Inquirer reports the flight was American Airlines Flight 669 from Philadelphia to Seattle.

The flight had been scheduled to land at Seattle-Tacoma global Airport.

The FAA says there were no injuries reported.

However, police said multiple 9-1-1 callers reported seeing flames coming from the engine of the plane in the sky near the airport.
