West was forced to defend himself back in February through a series of tweets, insisting he had contacted Swift about the song, days before she took a dig at the hip hop artist during a Grammys acceptance speech.

‘Where is the audio of Kanye telling me he was going to call me ‘that b–‘ in his song?

Swift and her spokesperson had repeatedly denied approving the lyric – particularly West’s line, “I made that bitch famous” – while West and Kardashian claimed that Swift knew about the song and lyrics before the release. “I just had a responsibility to you as a friend”.

“She totally knew that was coming out”. “[Swift’s camp] sent an attorney’s letter like, ‘Don’t you dare do anything with that footage, ‘ and asking us to destroy it”, said Kardashian.

Like I was in on it.’ [It was] just another way to play the victim. In referring to the “famous ” line, she says she thinks it’s more provocative. There’s not, like, one that hurts my feelings and one that doesn’t.
