Trump sues former campaign aide for $10 million
The Associated Press, which first reported the legal fight between Trump and Nunberg, says that Trump is seeking $10 million from Nunberg and has accused Nunberg of leaking confidential information to the press and violating a nondisclosure agreement.

The presumptive presidential Republican nominee is alleging that Nunberg, who was sacked last August for racially offensive Facebook posts, may have violated his confidentiality agreement in statements to the media, an unnamed source confirmed to Mic on Wednesday.
Both the allegation and the arbitration claim became public in a filing by Nunberg this week in a NY court. The Trump campaign fired Nunberg in August 2015 after the discovery of Facebook posts that critics deemed racist. Miltenberg said Trump’s attorney argued for the documents to be sealed in a hearing Wednesday morning…
Critics, including some at CNN, have panned the move for CNN to hire Lewandowski, saying he can not perform his duties in accordance with journalistic practices after signing a nondisclosure agreement that prevents him from talking about Trump and his campaign in any light that is not positive.
Nunberg filed a lawsuit denying Trump’s accusation that he leaked a May story to the New York Post about a public quarrel between then-Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski and campaign spokeswoman Hope Hicks.
The Associated Press has reported that Trump demands former campaign workers, including Lewandowski, sign agreements not to tell any campaign or business secrets, and not to disparage the presumptive Republican nominee.
Nunberg is also seeking $10 million from Trump in compensatory damages, The Washington Post’s report said.
The dysfunction of Donald Trump’s presidential campaign was front and center Thursday morning in a Manhattan courtroom – and there’s more to come.
Nunberg’s parents – both lawyers – said outside court that an affair between a married campaign manager and an attractive single press secretary who was a former Ralph Lauren model would not sit well with Trump’s conservative followers. After parting ways with Trump, Nunberg endorsed Trump’s rival, Sen. Among other things, he had previously made headlines for allegedly physically assaulting reporter Michelle Fields on the campaign trail, banning reporters from Trump events, and verbally harassing female co-workers.
Hicks did not respond to detailed requests to respond to the allegations sent via email and text, as well as a voicemail. Nunberg also accuses the entity of conducting business illegally in the state of NY.

The agreement also includes a very broad non-compete clause that prohibits Nunberg from working or volunteering for any state or national campaign other than Trump’s while Trump is a presidential candidate.
