Kansas delegates see Trump’s VP helping with GOP skeptics
The two rekindled their social media spat over the weekend after Warren ripped into Mike Pence, who Trump introduced as his vice presidential pick Saturday, for the IN governor’s record on LGBT rights and women’s health.

Texas Sen. Ted Cruz won the state’s caucuses in March, and 24 delegates are bound to vote for him at the convention, compared to nine for Trump.
State Treasurer Ron Estes, a Rubio delegate, said Pence’s selection makes him feel more comfortable with Trump’s candidacy, though he had always planned to support the GOP nominee.
Warren tweeted several attacks at the Republican Party in general before calling the idea of Pence being second in command “terrifying”.
Prominent Trump supporter and Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach said picking Pence should help Trump with conservative evangelicals and establishment Republicans.
Citing previous employers who say Warren was hired based on her merits, the former Harvard Law School professor argued that it was instead Trump who was a fraud.
“It’s also a signal to the Cruz people that, ‘Hey, you all come on board, ‘” Duncan said.

“He was very upbeat”, a friend who spoke to Pence told The Post.
