Israel regularly destroys the homes of Palestinian attackers in what it says is a deterrent.

Border Police officer Hadar Cohen, 19, was killed in a terror attack at Damascus Gate outside of Jerusalem’s Old City on February 3, 2016.

Meanwhile, Muawiya has been moved between Israel’s Russian Compound, HaSharon, and Megiddo prisons. Details on how he allegedly assisted the attackers were not provided.

Earlier this month the High Court of Justice rejected an appeal by Abu Zeid’s father against the demolition of the home, where the alleged accomplice lived with his parents and siblings, including two minors.

Since October, around 10 Palestinians from Qabatiya have been killed while carrying out attacks against Israelis.

Violence in Israel and the Palestinian territories since October previous year has killed at least 215 Palestinians, 34 Israelis, two Americans, an Eritrean and a Sudanese.

Also, Alqam’s family was ordered to pay the Israeli occupation government a fine of almost $7,000 (This equals more than one year of wages for the average Palestinian).
