Tyler Ulis, Marquese Chriss and Dragan Bender all impressed at various points, leaving onlookers gushing about the young talent that is blossoming in the desert. Xavier Silas led the Wolves with 22 points, while Jones added 21 and eight assists.

The former Kentucky standout is averaging 15.2 points per game, averaging 6.2 assists per game and shooting 46.2 percent from the floor in five games so far for the Summer League Suns. The 5-11 guard’s poise on offense and aggressiveness on defense are making an early argument that Ulis is a jail-worthy steal of a second-round pick. In addition to Jones’ big effort, Adreian Payne notched a double-double with 18 points and 10 boards. He has struggled some from beyond the arc so it is good to see him make this shot if he wants to make Phoenix’s roster. Beech also had seven rebounds.

After the lottery pick missed two free throws at the end of regulation, it looked like he would cost the Suns the game. The Nets were shut out in overtime. Dunn may play Saturday or Sunday, though.
