Ahead of the Democratic National Convention being held in Philadelphia from July 25th to July 28th, Hillary for America and the Democratic National Convention Committee announced today headlining speakers for each night of the program.
Clinton is also expected to address a rally planned by the campaign for the Friday after the convention, on Independence Mall.
Clinton’s campaign slogan is “Stronger Together,” so it’s important that she has a range of people – politicians, citizens, personalities – speaking no her behalf, according to Mic.com. That night’s theme is “United Together” – indeed, of the four nights’ themes, three include the word “together”. Bernie Sanders’ decision to endorse Hillary Clinton earlier this week.
Stein reportedly has received $80,000 in donations in just 24 hours since Sanders appeared with Clinton in a public appearance in New Hampshire, according to U.S. Uncut.
“Hillary will speak about her vision for our country – her belief that we are stronger together and that America is at its best when we work together to solve our problems”, the note said.
Similarly, there are no senators billed save for Clinton’s primary opponent, Sen.
Another night will feature the “Mothers of the Movement,” the mothers of Sandra Bland, Michael Brown, Trayvon Martin and other African-Americans who have died in high-profile incidents over the past few years.
President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden will speak Wednesday, with a focus on the stakes of the election and the progress made under their administration.

The day will focus on “how Hillary has spent her entire career working to make a difference for children, families, and our country”, the convention announced. She’ll be joined on stage that night by her daughter, Chelsea Clinton.
