Kante Says Conte Convinced Him To Move

Conte’s Chelsea got off to a poor start at the weekend, losing 2-0 against Rapid Vienna in Austria.

Leicester, who are playing in the Champions League unlike Chelsea, recently secured England striker Jamie Vardy on a contract extention but the loss of Kante will be a major blow to their plans for next season with Riyah Mahrez, their creative gem, reportedly also eyeing a move away.

Kante completed his move to Stamford Bridge earlier this week for a reported £30 million as per the BBC, signing a five year deal with the club.

With Batshuayi and Kante both through the entrance door, Conte is likely to continue adding to his squad as the new campaign begins to come into view over the horizon.
