ACC Network to launch on ESPN
The ACC Network digital channel is expected to begin its programming later this year.

Swofford will meet with the ACC media Thursday morning at the ACC Football Kickoff in Charlotte and will hold a one-hour Commissioner’s Forum.
The ACC could be getting its own channel sooner rather than later. They’ve long had plenty of time to make sure to get the maximum coverage available to them and to make the fans happy and now it’s happening. “And we like to make money, as well”.
The long rumored & awaited ACC Network is almost here.
You have to wonder what role, if any, the new Syracuse Orange AD might have played in the news that The ACC Network is officially happening and will launch by 2019. On Monday, the ACC became the latest Power Five conference to throw its name in the hat for broadcast networks.
The most important thing it does for the conference, however, is give them the opportunity to start the ACC Network.
Swofford told the media in May at the annual ACC meetings that the league would likely need to add a network in order to close the financial gap with other conferences.
Conference-specific channels have proven a mixed blessing after an initial rush of enthusiasm.

With the turmoil that has happened in college athletics over the past 20 years Louisville has found the flawless landing spot in the Atlantic Coast Conference. The Big Ten Network (in partnership with Fox) and SEC Network (in partnership with ESPN) have been financially lucrative, but the PAC 12 Network (no established partner) has struggled to find distribution and traction, and thus far hasn’t created the financial windfall for its members as the Big Ten and SEC networks have.
