Manchester United in talks to sign midfielder

Rumors of Pogba moving back to Manchester United have been circulating around since before the Euros, but now it seems that this weekend will be the end of the saga.

Pogba, 23, has been linked with a £105 million world record transfer back to United after developing into one of the world’s top players since leaving Old Trafford in 2012.

Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba’s move to Manchester United might not be such an open and shut case as multiple reports might have had you believed during the last couple of weeks.

“Pogba is now holidaying in Miami and his agent Mino Raiola has hinted his man could yet stay in Turin where an improved contract is up for discussion”.

“All the big clubs know that their top players can receive tempting offers”, Paratici was quoted as saying by Football Italia.

Pogba is keen on the idea of joining Real Madrid, while Juve want him to sign a contract extension beyond 2019.

Gazzetta writes United will pay a “monster” €125million for a player who left them for a mere compensation fee just four years ago.

When presented with a Real shirt and asked what he thought of them, he replied: “They won the Champions League this year”.

If Paul Pogba arrives at Manchester United it could usher in a new era at the iconic English club, so says former defender Rio Ferdinand.

New manager Jose Mourinho has already secured two Raiola clients in Henrikh Mkhitaryan for £26m and Zlatan Ibrahimovic on a free this summer. “We need champions with a lot of quality to compete at the highest level”. From these four, we have three and until we don’t have the fourth, we are still working hard, myself, the structure, Mr Woodward, the owners, we are working hard.
