Deepika refuses to work with TV actor
It will be interesting since Sanjay Leela Bhansali has worked with Ranveer and Deepika in two back to back movies now i.e. Goliyon ki leela Ram Leela and Bajirao Mastani. However, a source recently revealed, “Vicky Kaushal has opted out of the film considering that the role is very short in comparison to those played by Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone”.

So, we all know by now that the gorgeous Deepika Padukone will be next seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s yet another classic tale from the historic past “Padmavati”, where she is playing the lead role. Rumours are rife that the duo would not even share screen space in Bhansali’s ambitious movie. It added that the first schedule is with Deepika and her husband’s character.
And now that the team is searching for a suitable replacement, reports of Padukone refusing to star opposite a Television actor are making the rounds. While she has no scenes with Ranveer, she shares some intense romantic and lovemaking scenes with her husband, so she wants a big star as her hero.
Reports also say that Prakash Kapadia, who scripted Bajirao Mastani, has been roped in again to write Padmavati.
However, there hasn’t been any official confirmation about the star cast of “Padmavati”. The film will depict the tale of the ruler Alauddin Khilji who is obsessively in love with Padmavati.
While fans are looking forward to a new film’s announcement from the actor’s end, looks like, Ranveer is way happier to be just back home.
