The release of Pokemon Sun and Moon is quickly approaching, and with each new trailer and preview, we’re getting a clearer picture of what the games will be offering when they arrive.

The trailer briefly shows off each of the six newly revealed Pokemon, if you want a bit more detail on each one, check out the following pages! The legendaries invoke the power of the sun and moon respectively for their special abilities: Sunsteel Strike and Moongeist Beam. The other new arrival seen last week is the strong fighter Bewear.
Wimpod is a Bug/Water Pokemon that has a new Ability: Wimp Out. It is a cowardly scavenger known as a cleaner of the sea because it eats and stores any item that is dropped into the water. If its HP drops below half in battle, it will either run away or swap itself out of battle.
Fruit Pokemon Bounsweet gives off a delicious aroma. Its fragrance makes it popular with humans, so it often lives in homes while acting like an air freshener of sorts.
Finally, there’s Comfey, a fairy-type that resembles a lei, which fits well with Pokemon Sun and Moon’s Hawaiian-inspired Alola region.
Mudslade is the Draft Horse Pokemon with incredible power and stamina. Its legs are coated in a protective mud and its kick can destroy a vehicle in a single blow. Mudslade has the Ability Stamina, a new Ability which raises a Pokemon’s Defense by one when an attack hits. With its stout and highly developed arms and legs, Bewear loves to give crushing bear hugs which will split anything in two.
As the Disguised Pokemon, Mimikyu (Ghost/Fairy Type) lives its life constantly covered by its cloth. It can come with the Ability Own Tempo, but it can also have a new Ability no other Pokemon have: Stampede.
With the release of the new title, support for current Pokemon games Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire along with Pokemon X & Y, will end.

Nintendo brought Pokemon Sun and Moon to its Nintendo Treehouse live stream at E3 2016, showing off lots of new footage of the game, including tweaks and changes to the battle system.
