Donald Trump is officially the Republican Party’s nominee

Former U.S. Attorney General Michael Mukasey on Tuesday told a crowd at the Republican National Convention that Hillary Clinton’s use of an email server and alleged mishandling of classified material disqualifies her to be president.

Christie made the GOP-loved case against Clinton’s “failures” in Libya, Syria, Nigeria, Iran and China, following each argument with the question: “Guilty or not guilty?”

“Is she guilty or not guilty?”

After each example, he asked listeners whether Clinton was guilty or not guilty.

“We have an alternative”.

“If Donald Trump wants to make America great again, he should start actually making things in America again”, Clinton said.

Clinton has led in the poll most of the year.

In a tweet just after the speech, Clinton evoked the George Washington Bridge lane closure scandal that rocked Christie’s administration and is largely credited with sinking his 2016 presidential hopes.

Trump’s campaign manager Paul Manafort accused the Clinton campaign of jumping on the controversy to attack Melania Trump because she was a threat to the former secretary of state’s presidential candidacy. The White House declined to comment Tuesday morning, but was expected to answer questions about the similarities later in the day. “It was a tragedy and one that would be repeated should she when the election”.

“We can not promote someone to commander in chief who has made the world a more violent and unsafe place”, Christie said.

“Of course, you’re disappointed”.

Christie also claimed she was guilty of “putting herself before America” by setting up private email servers and “lying to the American people about her selfish, bad judgment about making [America’s] secrets vulnerable”. But “you take a deep breath, wake up the next morning and get on with your day”.

But in an obvious change from 2012, Christie immediately praised nominee Donald Trump – something he did not do for Mitt Romney.

Chris Christie on Tuesday evening showed that his enthusiasm for Donald Trump has not been dimmed by the New Jersey governor being passed over as the GOP candidate’s VP pick in favor of Indiana’s Gov. Mike Pence. He described Trump as a “caring, genuine, and decent person”.

But the main focus of Clinton’s visits were on the union support. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., said Clinton has “a tortured relationship to the truth”.

“Alright, alright, we’re getting there”.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell lit into Clinton over her email scandal and the attack on the USA consulate in Benghazi, Libya.
