The Palestinian Football Federation has postponed the second leg of the Palestine Cup final, between the champions of the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, after Israel denied entry permits to some of the Gaza players, sport officials said.
NEW YORK-(ENEWSPF)-7 August 2015 – Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon today spoke out against recent violence between Israelis and Palestinians and called on leaders on both sides not to allow extremists to escalate the situation and “take control of the political agenda”.
“Hamas must fulfill its responsibilities or face the consequences”, Peter Lerner, Israeli army spokesperson said in a statement.

It was not immediately clear whether the ordnance was left behind by Israeli or Palestinian forces.
Gaza’s Salafis are proponents of global holy war endorsed by Islamic State and al Qaeda.
The settlements are considered illegal under worldwide law, though Israel disputes this.
The Gaza Strip, with which Israel fought a devastating 50-day war last summer, and the West Bank are only 60 kilometres (40 miles) apart but separated by politics and Israeli territory. Operation Protective Edge carried out in retaliation to Hamas rocket fire, claimed the lives of some 2,251 Palestinians, mostly civilians, and 72 Israeli soldiers, according to the UN. Authorities gave no further details on the Israeli casualties.
Friday’s attack comes after Gaza terrorists fired two rockets at Israel on Thursday evening, according to the Times of Israel.
