Matthews reportedly proposed during a trip to England’s Lake District.

The news has been confirmed by a close friend of the couple.

Well, there is no update yet about the wedding but looks like it is on the horizon.

“Kate is so happy for Pippa”, the source added.

James Matthews was born 21 August 1975 is a British hedge fund manager also the former racing driver.

Her sister, the Duchess of Cambridge and her husband, Prince William are said to be thrilled by the news, as are the bride-to-be’s parents Carole and Michael Middleton. “It sits fairly high on her finger allowing as much light to enter the diamond as possible and reflect back giving stunning brilliance and fire”.

The engagement took the 32-year-old completely by surprise but Pippa accepted it at once.

Who the jeweler is is still unknown.

However, the sparkling border of round cut diamonds is the only similarity that her ring possesses with relation to the one her sister received. It seems Kate Middleton has learned the art of levitation! The couple has been dating on and off since 2012, and rekindled their relationship in January after Middleton split from her ex, Nico Jackson, last October.

Matthews, whose brother is reality TV star Spencer, is said to have asked her father’s permission first. Matthews started his career at Spear, Leeds and Kellog, which was later acquired by Goldman Sachs, and made his fortune after founding Eden Rock Capital Management.

Like Prince William and Harry, Matthews was educated at the decidedly posh Eton College in Berkshire, near Windsor.
