Christie asks GOP faithful for Clinton verdict

Stressing that the country can not promote such a person to serve as commander-in-chief, Christie contended that Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump, by contrast, is unafraid, wants to lead, understands the frustrations and aspirations of fellow citizens and “judges people based on their performance regardless of your gender, race, ethnic or religious background”.

Hillary Clinton promised not to raise taxes on the middle class and compared the first night of the Republican National Convention to the movie “The Wizard of Oz” while campaigning in Las Vegas at separate events Tuesday.

Christie said voters shouldn’t elect Clinton as president and reward what he calls her incompetence.

“So here’s what we’re going to do, we’re going to present the facts to you”, he said, referring to the Convention floor as well as the televised audience. “Lock her up!” the delegates chanted.

The lawmakers were, however, united in their critique of Clinton, from her use of a private email server while at the Department of State to a series of foreign policy missteps.

On Russia, he said, Clinton gave them that “stupid, symbolic reset button” that should have said “delete – she’s very good at that, by the way….”

The FBI earlier this month recommended no charges be brought against Clinton and the U.S. attorney general followed that recommendation.

“Ninety-three percent of the speech is completely different”, Christie said.
