McGregor is now set to meet Stockton Native Nate Diaz in the main event of UFC 202 live on pay-per-view (PPV), from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada on August 20, 2016.
But that in itself showed his bravery: he had stepped up two weight divisions to take the Alvarez bout, and claims that his profile is still just about high enough to land MMA’s biggest fish.
