Trump kids take the stage to pitch The Donald

The chant, which delegates began on the first night of the convention Monday, was revived again Tuesday when New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie began a speech by making a case against Clinton.

Federal Bureau of Investigation officials called Clinton’s email practices “careless”, but the Justice Department announced earlier this month there was not enough evidence to charge her with a crime. And it very well may be that convincing the electorate Clinton is a criminal is Trump’s only path to victory in November.

It’s the latest sign that in the age of Donald Trump, the GOP’s elite gatekeepers are gone.

“I’ve been around the Clintons more than anybody should have to be”, said Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell of Kentucky.

“This is a movement”, he declared. “Here’s what we’re going to do”. We can not make the chief law enforcement officer of the United States someone who has risked America’s secrets and lied about this to Congress and the American people. Christie was referring to pranks committed during the presidential transition from Bill Clinton to George W. Bush in 2001.

White then listed off three things that he respects about Trump: His “great business instincts”, the fact that he’s a “hard worker” and that “for over 15 years Donald Trump has been a loyal and supportive friend and I know if I needed Donald, he’d be there for me”. But among the endless parade of speakers addressing the crowds at Quicken Loans arena, he was rarely the topic of conversation.

But Trump eviscerated his rivals in the all-important New Hampshire primary, winning 35% of the vote, while the next closest competitor – John Kasich – won 16%.

“Have we had our arguments this year? I’d ask you to go back through history and figure out, where are these contributions that have been made by these other categories of people that you’re talking about, where did any other subgroup of people contribute more to civilization?” Signs of life. Signs of a party that’s not just going through the motions.

“She said there was no marked classified information on her server”.

Even Speaker of the House Paul Ryan, perhaps the Republican party’s most successful and influential policy entrepreneur, had nearly nothing specific to say, or even reference, about jobs and economic policy. Also, according to its website, that winery “is not owned, managed or affiliated with Donald J. Trump, The Trump Organization or any of their affiliates”, and therefore may not be the best example. He spent most of his speech asking-practically pleading-with the GOP to unite around Trump, because Hillary Clinton was unacceptable. “I’ve seen it time and time again”.

“This election is not just about Donald Trump”, Christie started off by saying. “Locker her up! Lock her up!”. Christie asked. “Hillary Clinton, lying to the American people about her selfish, bad judgment, guilty or not guilty?” Tiffany is his youngest daughter with Trump’s second wife, actress Marla Maples.

Liar. Lucifer. Lock her up. GOP denounces Clinton
