Barcelona announced on Tuesday morning that two of their brightest prospects have agreed new contracts at the Nou Camp, with Sergi Samper and Munir El Haddadi signing three-year deals to tie them to the club until 2019.
The 20-year-old broke into the first team during the treble-winning 2014-15 campaign before making 26 appearances last season as Barca won a second consecutive La Liga title.
“His buyout clause has been set at 60 million euros (US$65.93 million)”.
“I’ve been working hard, learning from everyone and all that effort has its reward”.
Samper, 21, came through the ranks of the Barcelona youth academy and made his official first-team debut in the 1-0 Champions League win over APOEL in September 2014.

It is unlikely, though, that he will be happy playing such a limited role in the long term, and the 2016-17 season will be crucial for Munir as he looks to earn more first-team starts under manager Luis Enrique.
