Brock Lesnar Notified of Potential Anti-Doping Violation
Mark “Super Samoan” Hunt couldn’t contain his rage when addressing the potential anti-doping violation claims levelled at his UFC 200 opponent Brock Lesnar. The test results came back July 14 and now Brock will be afforded a “full fair legal review process”.

It is also unknown at this time what the potential doping violation was for a banned substance or a banned methodology. The statement also noted that UFC was informed of the potential violation Thursday.
Oh no! Brock Lesnar, 39, has been riding high after making his successful comeback to the UFC after a five-year absence, but now he’s the subject of a doping investigation.
As per USADA policy, the name of the substance Lesnar tested positive for has not been released.
Lesnar’s return to MMA, which occurred on Saturday night at UFC 200, was announced in June. Lesnar was exempted by virtue of the UFC’s anti-doping policy that can be invoked in extenuating circumstances.
Lesnar is just the latest UFC fighter to be flagged by USADA, following news that interim light heavyweight champion Jon Jones was flagged June 16 for doping and was subsequently pulled from the UFC 200 fightcard. I suspect the mainstream media is going to have a field day if UFC suspends Lesnar for two years, yet WWE only suspends him for 30 days.
Unfortunately for Mark Hunt he was beaten by what appears to be a dirty fighter.
UFC issued a statement Friday confirming that Lesnar had been notified of the potential violation.
The UFC requires athletes who have been retired to notify the organization in writing with four month’s notice, allowing for drug testing during the four-month period before they would be allowed to return to the octagon.
Before the fight, Hunt told Fox Sports he thought Lesnar was “juiced to the gills”, drawing an angry rebuke from Lesnar. “They say they are trying to clean up the sport, but it doesn’t feel like it. The UFC is basically saying if you cheat you won’t be penalized”.

He was scheduled to return to the WWE and wrestle Randy Orton on August 21 at SummerSlam.
