Fortunately she wasn’t hurt, and managed to remain on the board.

The flautist had just finished playing the flute and was adjusting her GoPro camera when she was surprised by a whale, CNN reports.
A professional flutist was greeted by a humpback whale last weekend as she was paddle boarding and playing her flute in the Pacific Ocean.
A whale hopped out of the water and bumped into the board of a nearby paddle boarder at a bay in California.
Guzman said she started coming to this beach past year, and has continually been seeing the whales coming closer and closer to shore.
One wrote: ‘I think I would have fallen right off the board and into the water if a whale surprised me like that’.
In a dramatic video she can be seen pottering along in Half Moon Bay, California.
Towards the end of the video, which has already accumulated more than 13,000 views on YouTube, one can hear Guzman’s friend shouting, “She came to you!”
“I feel like they’re curious about the flutes and they come towards me”, she said.

And another added: ‘That would have put my heart into cardiac arrest’.
