‘We’re going to win Ohio:’ Donald Trump arrives in Cleveland
An aide for Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump said Wednesday she took responsibility for copying portions of First Lady Michelle Obama’s 2008 address for Melania Trump’s convention speech on Monday.

No, in today’s reality TV show that is the 2016 Presidential Election, the only thing people seem to care about from the RNC is potential First Lady Melania Trump’s plagiarized version of a famous Michelle Obama speech.
Melania Trump read McIver some of her favorite Michelle Obama quotes over the phone, the statement said, and some of them were inserted into her final speech.
However, his speech will undoubtedly be remembered for the reaction of the crowd as it became apparent that he would not endorse Trump. “No harm was meant”.
But she said the presidential contender rejected her offer.
McIver said Trump had refused to accept her resignation, saying that “people make innocent mistakes”, according to her statement.
Just down the hall, Nick Weidenkopf, an alternate delegate from Dallas, stood wearing a cowboy hat and a convention pass signed by Ted Cruz.
In “How to Get Rich”, Trump mentions McIver was his executive assistant at The Trump Organization and calls her a “writer of many talents” in the book’s acknowledgements. At one point, campaign co-chairman Paul Manafort blamed Hillary Clinton for the controversy, though he offered no coherent theory on how she could have orchestrated it.
Gingrich says there’s only one candidate on the ballot in November who’ll uphold the Constitution – and that’s Trump, he says.
“I apologize for the confusion and hysteria my mistake has caused”, McIver wrote.
While some endorsed Trump as they exited the race, many actively opposed his insurgent White House bid and campaigned against him until the decisive May primary in Indiana.
“I am honored to work for such a great family”, she added.
“I don’t understand how someone could present themselves as a person of integrity and then come into this room tonight and give that cute speech he gave”.
Cruz’s departure from the arena was nothing short of awkward and tense, said CNN, and was reportedly approached by people who insulted him.

The passages in question came near the beginning of Mrs. Trump’s almost 15-minute speech.
